With the turn of events as they have been for long enough, and the continual setback and ruination of many natural resources, life and the very air we breathe, I am most happy to say that the tide of the wind has turned. Even though, mind you, there are still so much to undo, care for, protect, defend and heal, many people are finally getting it!
At the same equidistance in time, there are those who will stop at nothing to obtain power, wealth and control at the expense of others. Albeit, quite the caricature, if you look at the James Bond hero, 007, in his "The World Is Not Enough", which portrays these usurpers of true community and virtue as apathetic to the needs of anything or anyone. They care not if the world comes to an end, and moreover, their aim to conquer is beyond this world. Their belief system, if they have one, is synonymous with egotistical manipulations. Yet, it is much more complex, and will therefore, lay this to the side for now.
Coming across many people whom I speak with, on the street, in many of my groups, and in Facebook, not to mention magazine articles, books and the internet in general, many people are becoming more aware of these atrocities and are reaching out, with full heart, to each other, to the causes, no longer interested in patch up work, but genuinely desiring reform, and deep change, leading toward a new peaceful revolution and embrace of transformation. With stimulated hearts, the people, in their hope, look toward a sustainable future, where we may still toil the soil, raise crops without monopolies taking over their operations and workers; where we may tend and care for the animals which give us food products; where we may develop more jobs in a way which will thrive the populace, not downsizing for the sake of extreme profit to the few. It seems that it's difficult to lay aside the problem. I will make another attempt.
In each and their own way, the American people as well as those from other countries, and especially those from other countries, there is an endeavor to make use of our metaphysical and spiritual powers. People are seeing an actual need with involving our inner sight and inner senses as humans, as divine entities, to awaken, become more aware, begin caring and actually "doing something" to pull us out of this seemingly large black hole we've made for ourselves. Difficult as it may seem, we can no longer say "they" or "them". Easy it is to say and think that we have naught to do with current calamities. We have watched in shock and horror as the attacks occur, whether it's mis-electing a president, or watching whales being mutilated.
We realize that sometimes, "doing nothing" in participation with harm's way is enough. We don't have to involve ourselves with operations that are ruinous to our health and the planets health. On the other hand, what are the consequences of only boycotting and abstaining?
We have to count with our fingers what those caring and helpful actions can be. We can do very little, but in the ultimate count of the grand total, those figures will amount to an astronomical sum when we consider that doing nothing, the zero, is the balance of total destruction, where we are heading if we do, in fact, "do nothing".
People are now willing to walk short distances instead of using their vehicles. Fewer there are who refuse to take vacations because of the pollution caused by airplanes. People are now more willing to bring their own shopping bags to the market, more willing to use less water and involve themselves in ceaseless actions of conservation toward a large number of causes, including saving the marine and wildlife.
Behavioral changes in people are emerging in a spirit of friendship, even though, it isn't near the golden age yet. Folk are talking about ways to meditate, contemplate, relax, healing, exercise, retreat, and also about the ways of the spirit, soul matter and evolution related to this. It's both heart warming and amusing to see these stimulated hearts at work and play. Here in our community of Santa Rosa, California, some of us speak of how fond we are of Sebastopol, seven miles west toward the coast. "Well you know," said one Santa Rosian, "almost everyone in Sebastopol is some type of healer." Although embellished, it is somewhat true. There are many healers there ranging from massage therapists to hypnotherapy.
There are so many healing modalities, whether it be for mental, emotive, physical or spiritual restoration. It's astonishing to see the enormous varieties; one would wonder where to begin. Matrix Energetics International (matrixenergetics.com) offers a great variety of healing based on their two point system which enables everyone to choose their own style or multiple styles of healing restorations.
At last, we are changing the winds of time, as forecast by our brother, Bob Dylan in his famous song, "...how many times can a man turn his head, and pretend that he just doesn't see?.....how many years must one man have, before he can hear people cry?....how many deaths will it take till he knows, that too many people have died?....the answer my friend, is blowing in the wind, the answer is blowing in the wind..."
Yes, the answer is blowing, blowing somewhere and into something, until all has blown away, blown away in the solar winds of time.
